The President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, is travelling to Rome on the occasion of the 18th Italy-Spain Summit which, although originally scheduled to be held on 10 December last, had to be delayed due to the funeral for Nelson Mandela. The previous summit was held in Madrid on 29 October 2012.
