A truck has collided with a car on Friday, whilst travelling along the A-5 motorway near Mostoles, the second-largest city in the autonomous community of Madrid, located 18 kilometres southwest from the centre.
The incident occurred at kilometre 23 of the A-5, when the truck crashed into the central reservation, rolled over and hit the passenger car.
The Guardia Civil, fire fighters and medics all attended the scene which resulted in two people being injured in the crash, one of them seriously.
An investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the potentially fatal crash.
