Train Safety Checks Planned
The Spanish Congress is putting together a plan to force systematic analysis of black boxes on trains, in order to monitor faults and other problems so as to promote measures for improvement.
The final draft of the proposal has been released this week which came about after the high speed train crash in July of 2013.
The draft also recommends the removal of level crossings and more automation of safety systems, as well as the monitoring of black boxes on both public and private services.
