Sea Rescue off Cartagena Coast
The search and rescue team based in Cartagena assisted a fisherman off a boat off the coast of Cartagena on Thursday, after receiving an urgent medical call from the Belmonte Hernandez ship.
The call was received at 09:25 resulting in the quick response craft being, Salvamar Mimosa being launched which met the fishing boat 30 miles off the coast, transferring the injured sailor back to the port of Cartagena with a left leg trauma and possible fracture, arriving at noon.
