Valencia’s Environment Minister, Elena Cebrián, visited the La Marina pine forest area on Monday along with Elche Mayor, Carlos Gonzalez and other local and regional officials. Gonzalez said that after the indifference of previous administrations, he was certain that the new regional government will act in making improvements to the area. Cebrián in turn promised that more people would be allocated to maintain the forest along with producing a cohesive rural development plan.
