A National Police patrol car, responding to an emergency, collided with a passenger car in Alicante on Friday afternoon, shunting that vehicle into a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at a junction on avenida de Alcoy at around 13:00. The collision resulted in the patrol car becoming entangled with a lamppost.
Four people were taken from the scene suffering various injuries, the two officers in the patrol car, one occupant of the passenger car, and the pedestrian. The severity of the injuries is unknown.
