The Valencian parliament has passed a motion which calls on the regional and national governments to provide better public transport links between Alicante-Elche airport and centres across Alicante Province, as well as stretching to the Murcia region.
The motion seeks improved bus and train links to and from the airport across Alicante Province, but also wants feasibility studies to be conducted to see if buses could link the facility at El Altet with the Mar Menor and Cartagena.
The motion, though an expression of the Valencian parliament, is not binding on the regional administration.
