The banks of the River Segura in the Guardamar area have been given a good weeding out by members of the Asociación de Naturalistas del Sur de España (Anse) in a similar operation to what the volunteers carried out back in October at Torrevieja’s La Mata lake. Invasive species have been removed and replaced by new plants.
