An 87-year-old woman died on Monday after being trapped in a folding bed in Valencia City. The victim was killed almost instantly as the bed snapped shut at a house in the Torrefiel area of the City, with paramedics unable to do anything apart from confirm her death.
She had been staying in the guest room at her daughter’s house, who was about to wake her up to take her to a medical centre appointment when she witnessed the horrific scene.
Emergency services found her sandwiched in the bed without a pulse.
