Store Room Robbers Arrested
In a joint operation between the National Police and the Guardia Civil, two people have been arrested believed to be responsible for robbing at least 140 store rooms across the Valencia region.
As well as the two detainees, aged 37 and 30, a third person, aged 20, is also under investigation for the crimes.
The investigation began in Xativa in July of last year, when officers became aware of similar characteristics in 27 robberies from store rooms in the area.
As the investigation continued into early 2018, more locations were added to those suspected of having been targeted by the gang, resulting in 142 robberies so far being attributed to them.
