After an extensive search of the area, officers from Orihuela Local Police managed to locate a missing British man who had been reported missing from his home.
Despite Orihuela being one of the geographically largest municipalities in the region, the man, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was located in the village of Hurchillo, disorientated and tired after spending hours walking through farmland.
The officers took the man to hospital for precautionary checks, but all indications are that it was a successful operation with gratitude shared with the officers involved.
