In the latest update published by the Ministry of Health in Spain, another 314 people have died of Covid since the update a week ago, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 116,422. This is the highest weekly deathtoll since 446 new deaths were reported on 11 September. In the Covid situation in Spain report a week ago, the increase was 207, it was 260 the week before that, and 284 on the 11 November, a month ago.
There has also been another 17,828 Covid infections confirmed by PCR test in the small group of the population tested, bringing the total number of infections to 13,632,635.
