The Aldi supermarket chain has reported the withdrawal from its establishments of all units of Lyttos brand meatballs in tomato sauce for containing gluten and not being declared on the label.
The affected product is also wrongly labelled as “berenjenas en salsa” (aubergines in sauce) or “verduras en salsa picante” (vegetables in spicy sauce). These meatballs in tomato sauce are sold packaged in 280-gram cans.
Aldi indicates in its statement that consumers who are allergic to gluten and have this item can go to one of its establishments to return it and the money will be refunded.
Likewise, it makes available to consumers the telephone number 900 902 466 and the email address contigo@aldi.es.
