The Third section of the Court of Valencia will begin to hear evidence from today, Thursday, against a man accused of performing a personal sex act in a street in front of a group of minors, and subsequently injuring the National Police officer who went to arrest him.

The events occurred on March 12, 2022 in Valencia when the defendant began the sexual behaviour in front of the girls. The events were witnessed by a National Police officer who was off duty at the time.

When the agent identified himself, the defendant tried to flee, and so the officer tried to restrain him. The officer suffered a broken finger due to the resistance offered by the defendant, an injury from which he took 69 days to heal.

The Prosecutor’s Office requests a prison sentence of two years and seven months for the crimes of exhibitionism, resistance to an agent of authority and injuries.

That same day, the same Valencia courts will host the session for which a man is accused by the Prosecutor of an offence of exhibitionism committed before one of the three roommates of his 16-year-old daughter, and of another offence of sexual abuse, committed on another of them, who was 13 years old at the time of the events.

The public prosecution maintains that in July 2020 the minors lived with the accused in a shared apartment in a municipality in the province of Valencia, where they went to spend a few days on vacation in compliance with the visitation regime established by the parents.

During those days, the man took advantage of the moment to grope one of the minors and to perform a solo sex act in front of another of them.

The Prosecutor is asking for three years and nine months in prison for the accused.
