The Spanish water reserve is at 50.7 percent of its capacity

The Spanish water reserve is at 50.7 percent of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 28,400 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water, decreasing in the last week by 282 cubic hectometres (0.5 percent of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).

The reservation by areas is as follows:

  • Cantábrico Oriental se encuentra 83,6%
  • Cantábrico Occidental 78,6%
  • Miño-Sil 77,2%
  • Galicia Costa 84,6%
  • Cuencas internas del País Vasco 81%
  • Duero 69,3%
  • Tajo 61,5%
  • Guadiana 34%
  • Tinto, Odiel y Piedras 68,1%
  • Guadalete-Barbate 28,4%
  • Guadalquivir 25,2%
  • Cuenca Mediterránea Andaluza 36,7%
  • Segura 35,1%
  • Júcar 60,9%
  • Ebro 55,2%
  • Cuencas internas de Cataluña 26,1%

Rainfall has affected the Atlantic slope and has been very scarce on the Mediterranean slope. The maximum has been produced in Vigo (A) with 58.0 mm (58.0 l/m²).
