The Guardia Civil has arrested an influencer with more than 45,000 followers in a well-known social network in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) for sexually abusing a friend while she was sleeping and posting the video on their profile.
The detainee uploaded several videos while kissing and touching a friend who was asleep. The victim denounced these facts in offices of the Guardia Civil in the province of Guadalajara, who alerted the agents of Roquetas de Mar in Almería, where the alleged perpetrator resided.
In her statement, the victim informed the Guardia Civil that she was sleeping at the home of an acquaintance located in that town in Almería and that when she woke up and saw that the other person was touching her, they then quickly fled.
Both the agents and the victim verified that while she had been sleeping, she had been recorded receiving kisses and touching without her consent. The influencer uploaded the footage to their profile on a well-known social network and a private group on another social network of sexual touching. In addition, the victim also received insults and threats from the author through telephone messages.
After verifying that the videos were published on social networks, the Guardia Civil agents arrested this influencer in Roquetas de Mar, who already had a history and previous complaints for harassment on social networks.
The author is charged with the crimes of sexual assault, disclosure of secrets and threats. The proceedings initiated were sent to the Courts of the judicial district of Roquetas de Mar.
