In the large northern town of Gijón, amongst their summer celebrations, you will need to look to the sky to see some of the delights on offer this year.
The second edition of the Fiesta del Cielo is approaching, which will open with the Drone Show Festival on July 14 and 15. For two nights, the western sky will light up with dozens of drones, from three different companies, which aspire to conquer the people of Gijón with their figures and colours and exceed the 100,000 spectators last year.
During the rest of the month, within the framework of this event there will be workshops and activities related to space, ornithology, radio broadcasting… They will end on July 30 at the XVII International Air Festival in San Lorenzo Bay, which this year It will include, among others, the Spanish Air and Space Force aerobatic group, the Patrulla Águila.
