The Third Section of the Provincial Court of Valencia will begin to hear evidence from today, Tuesday, against an insurance agent from Valencia, for whom the prosecutor is asking for three years in prison, for the crimes of fraud, falsehood and misappropriation, for deceiving his son-in-law with a life policy.

The public prosecution maintains that, in 2004, the defendant convinced his relative to change the life insurance, which was about to expire, to the insurer with which he worked. For this he had to rescue the 27,500 that he had in the original policy and transfer them to the new one.

The Prosecutor’s Office explains that the defendant gave his son-in-law a false document that looked like a new insurance policy and imitated the signature of the injured party to rescue the money, which he really made his own, without ever arranging the victim’s policy.
