Spanish water reserve

The Spanish water reserve is at 44.7 percent of its total capacity. The reservoirs currently store 25,043 cubic hectometres (hm³) of water, a decrease of 609 cubic hectometres in the last week (1.1 percent of the current total capacity of the reservoirs).

The reservation by areas is as follows:

  • Cantábrico Oriental se encuentra 87,7%
  • Cantábrico Occidental 89,4%
  • Miño-Sil 68,6%
  • Galicia Costa 69,3%
  • Cuencas internas del País Vasco 76,2%
  • Duero 57,9%
  • Tajo 54,5%
  • Guadiana 28,2%
  • Tinto, Odiel y Piedras 67,2%
  • Guadalete-Barbate 20,8%
  • Guadalquivir 22,4%
  • Cuenca Mediterránea Andaluza 31,1%
  • Segura 33,5%
  • Júcar 55,1%
  • Ebro 51,6%
  • Cuencas internas de Cataluña 30,0%

Rainfall has affected the Atlantic slope and has been scarce on the Mediterranean slope. The maximum has been produced in San Sebastián – Donostia with 17.3 mm (17.3 l/m²).
