The Provincial Court of Valencia will begin to hear evidence from today, Thursday, against eight people (five men and three women) arrested in a National Police operation in September 2019 as alleged members of a criminal network dedicated to the sale of cocaine, hashish and marijuana in Alzira.
After several home searches carried out in the l’Alquerieta neighbourhood, the agents seized about 50 grams of the first of these substances, as well as more than 700 grams of cannabis.
In this case, the Prosecutor’s Office initially requests sentences of six and a half years in prison for seven of the accused, for crimes against public health and integration into a criminal group, and another two years in prison for an eighth accused for concealment.
