Guardia Civil Receive 148 New Vehicles

The Guardia Civil this week received 148 new vehicles which will be incorporated into service around the country.

The general director of the Guardia Civil, Leonardo Marcos, attended the reception of the new cars in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

The investment amounts to almost six million euro, charged to the funds of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

Specifically, they received 89 new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV models equipped with a patrol kit. The investment has been 3,957,000 euro. The vehicles are equipped with an acoustic and light priority system, megaphone transmissions, flashlights, a glass breaker-belt cutter kit, a first aid kit, road marking cones and a fire extinguisher, among other elements.

Plus, another 59 Citroën e-Berlingo electric 50kWh/h cars, with an investment of 1,938,000 euro, charged to the funds of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR) integrated into the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).
