The PP Parliamentary Group in Congress will begin this Tuesday the sessions entitled ‘Facing amnesty: equality, freedom and dignity’, which will be held on November 7, 8, 15 and 16 in the Constitutional Chamber of the Congress of the Deputies with the aim of critically analysing the amnesty “committed by Pedro Sánchez to his ERC partners.”
These sessions will bring together deputies, magistrates, law professors, journalists and members of civil society to hear their opinions about a possible amnesty for all those involved in the ‘procés’, “events that constituted a coup to the Constitution and the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia and a breakdown of coexistence within Catalan society,” denounces the PP.
Thus, former deputies of the Constituent Legislature such as Soledad Becerril and Luis de Grandes will take the floor in talks in which Francisco Pérez de los Cobos, former president of the Constitutional Court, and Jorge Rodríguez Zapata, emeritus magistrate of the TC will also attend and will collect the vision with exponents such as Paulo Rangel, MEPs of the Social Democratic Party of Portugal; Javier Rupérez Rubio, diplomat; and Javier Borrego, former magistrate of the European Court of Human Rights.
Catalan civil society will also be represented and groups such as the Asociación de Jóvenes Empresarios de Cataluña, Sociedad Civil Catalana, S’ha Acabat, Foment del Treball and Catalan Civic Coexistence will attend.
