14 years in prison call for continued sexual assault
The Provincial Court of Pontevedra, based in Vigo, will hear evidence against a man from today, Tuesday, facing 14 years in prison for a crime of sexual assault that occurred “on several occasions” between March and September 2014.
In addition, the Prosecutor´s Office requests a prohibition of approaching the minor, her home, and any other location a distance of 200 metres, as well as prohibiting him from communicating with her by any direct or indirect means for five years.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office demands that the accused be placed on probation, after serving the custodial sentence, for a period of five years and as civil liability, compensation of 4,000 euro for the moral damage caused.
