Child sex abuser stands trial

The Second Section of the Provincial Court of Ciudad Real will judge a man from today accused of sexually abusing his partner’s youngest daughter, who at the time of the events was 10 years old, and for which the Prosecutor’s Office requests seven years in prison.

According to the indictment, the accused, who lived with his partner and her two daughters, took a nap with the eldest of them, who was ten years old, touching her, sexually, “both above and below the underwear,” says the prosecution.

He also put the minor’s hand on himself and “made the girl touch him for a while” as he continued touching her private parts.

Likewise, the document also indicates that, on numerous occasions, the accused, “taking advantage of the ease that the situation of full coexistence with the girl and her young age allowed him,” entered the bedroom of his partner’s eldest daughter to lie on his bed while exposing himself.

Due to these facts, the prosecution is requesting a prison sentence of seven years for the accused for a crime of sexual abuse of a minor and for a continued crime of exhibitionism.

In addition, the prosecutor requests a restraining order against the victim of 300 metres for nine years, as well as the obligation to undergo a sexual re-education course.
