The final inflation data for February in Spain will be the main macro reference of a day in which the Executive Committee of the European Banking Federation meets in Frankfurt.

In the US, investors will be watching retail sales and the Producer Price Index, both for February.

Back in Spain, the day begins with the INE publishing the final data of the CPI and harmonised CPI for February, and the Bank of Spain publishes the Financing of the Eurosystem for February.

In the Eurozone, Eurostat brings to light company and bankruptcy records for January, and the ECB publishes quarterly pension fund statistics.

Finally, in the UK, we will have monthly NHS key services performance data, quarterly statistics on counter-terrorism legislation, farm business income forecasts, and UK regional trade. There might also be a dead cat in the news, a so-called distraction article, as MPs’ expenses are also published.

We will also have results from John Lewis Partnership, and Foxconn, amongst others.
