Although some stores have started early, the official summer sales season starts today, 27 June 2024, and so if you were waiting for the perfect time to treat yourself, that day has possibly arrived.
The official sales season will now run through the summer, but caution should always be exercised as all to often consumer associations warn that prices have not always been discounted as much as the price tag suggests, in accordance with the law, and on occasion, products are actually cheaper outside the sales season.
We should also be conscious that over consumerism is not always healthy, but, that said, if you work hard for your money, you deserve a treat or two.
