Starting on Thursday, the Courts in Valencia will begin to hear evidence against a man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend’s partner in April 2023 with a kitchen knife in her home.
The victim went to the house of the ex-partner, with whom he had had a brief romantic relationship, to collect some tools that he had left there.
When he arrived, he found the defendant, the father of one of the children of the woman and with whom she had just resumed her relationship, inside the house.
The jury will have to determine if the victim forcibly entered the house and if the defendant stabbed him with a kitchen knife about 20 centimetres long and if he did so with the intention of causing his death.
The Prosecutor’s Office classifies the facts as constituting a crime of homicide.
