The Ministry of Health has formalised, through the National Institute for Health Management (Ingesa), the first two framework agreements of the Ingesa Framework Agreement Plan for High Technology Health Equipment (Plan AMAT-I) worth 120 million euro. These are the agreements corresponding to the supply of surgical arches and the acquisition of radiology rooms, which the autonomous communities and administrations adhering to these agreements can now begin to process with any of the successful bidders.
The surgical arches project is a centralised purchase for the National Health System (NHS) and represents a total investment of 49.5 million euro. It provides for savings of more than 9.74 million euro for all the participating administrations, which are eleven autonomous communities, Ingesa and the Ministry of Defence.
The different surgical arch equipment that can be purchased under this framework agreement is collected in four lots, where the surgical arches are differentiated by the dimensions of the detector, by their power and by the intended use for them, either for general use or for use with high performance.
Under this framework agreement, Ingesa has selected the seven companies that will supply a total of 223 surgical arches during its two-year term. The agreement can be extended for another year, which would mean that the total number would reach 300 units.
The agreement for the acquisition of radiology rooms articulates a centralised purchasing action for the SNS that represents a total investment of 70.5 million euro and foresees a saving of more than 12.68 million euro for all the participating administrations. In this case, twelve companies have been selected for the supply.
The file is divided into twelve lots, which differentiate the different types of radiology rooms, some of them robotized or synchronized, with ceiling or floor suspension, with one, two or three flat panels, equipped with telemetry or without it, and in some cases with the inclusion of diagnostic support functions.
