Today, Tuesday, is the scheduled date for the arrival of King Felipe VI in Mallorca to begin his summer vacation on the island.
Many of the basic details of his holiday are still to be confirmed, although it is already assumed that, as in other years, Felipe VI will arrive alone, in advance, before the arrival of Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia.
The Royal Family’s summer plans will be put on hold on Friday 26 July so the King and Queen will attend the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris. Therefore, it would be on Saturday 27 when the family will accompany the King on his holiday on the island.
Another date worth mentioning is July 29, the date on which the King and Queen plan to open the doors of Marivent to welcome, as every year, the civil society of the islands into its gardens.
