Spain has seen a new employment record in June, with over 3.9 million workers and unemployment at its lowest level since 2008.
This positive economic news comes alongside recent changes to Spain’s Immigration Regulation, which came into force in May 2025.
The reform aims to simplify residence processes, reduce waiting times, and introduce new pathways for legal residency, including “arraigo social” (social roots) without a prior job offer and new permits for family members of Spanish citizens.
