Two people, a man of 34 and a woman of 31, have been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that took place on calle López de Hoyo, in Madrid.
These two people were traveling on a motorcycle along the street, where a car has apparently invaded the opposite lane and collided with the bike head on, forcing the bike some 15-20 metres back along the road.
Medical teams attended and found the driver of the motorcycle, the man, had an open fracture of the left arm and multiple injuries, whereas the woman also had multiple fractures. Both have been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
In addition, a psychologist was treating the car driver for a “strong anxiety attack”.
The Municipal Police of Madrid has taken over investigation into the causes of the accident.
