Spain approaches trade balance equilibrium in May

19/07/2013. The accelerated pace of export growth and, to a lesser extent, import decline left the Spanish trade balance at near equilibrium in May. The trade deficit of 27.5 million euros posted in May stands in sharp contrast to the trade deficit of 1.93 billion euros posted in the same month of 2012.
