Almoradi council will have to pay out 347 thousand euro in interest on projects that were not paid for the previous Partido Popular administration, according to current PSOE socialist finance councillor Abelardo Muñoz. Building works that were not fully paid for include the construction of the Guardia Civil barracks in the town, with Muñoz saying that the problem is “caused by the mismanagement” of the previous government team” and is being solved by a series of payments being done in instalments.
