The naked bodies of a man and woman were found on Tuesday evening inside a Torrevieja home, with the Guardia Civil saying that early indications showed that they both died of natural causes.
The dead woman’s son called the authorities after he had been unable to contact her for a few weeks at her first floor flat on Calle Bella Antonia, with firefighters forcing their way through a window, and discovering two bodies in the living room.
The naked body of the 63-year-old woman, who was a Guinean national, was found on a sofa in an advanced stage of decomposition, whilst the unclothed corpse of a 67-year-old man, of Spanish nationality, was found lying on the floor by the sofa, and he had died a few days earlier. No signs of violence were discovered.
