As of today, Monday, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports plans to start the works to correct the deficiencies that caused the closure of the planetarium of the Musoe de las Ciencias de Castilla-La Mancha in the capital of Cuenca. At the moment, the deadline for the execution of the works has not been disclosed, although sources from the Ministry have assured that the idea is that it can be operational again in June.
The Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Rosa Ana Rodríguez, indicated that “in the month of April the contract with the company was already made and they have told us that on Monday, the 8th, the company enters to do that repair that will allow us to reopen later”.
These same sources have indicated that “although they told us that it was safe, we did not want to tempt fate either and we preferred to close temporarily. Therefore, the company will enter on Monday and begin to carry out the works and I believe that it will not be much that will be closed. It is an enclosure because there is a detachment from the anteroom to the dome”.
