Alicante Province Reaches 4,000 Covid Deaths Milestone
The Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health has notified a total of 880 new cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test or through antigen tests since the last update on June 30, an increase since the last report. The new cases by province are 82 in Castellón (198,270 in total), 295 in Alicante (540,243 in total), a considerable increase since the last report, and 503 in Valencia (861,279 in total).

Of these, 529 are people over 60 years of age. By provinces: 54 from Castellón, 192 from Alicante and 283 from Valencia.
8 deaths from coronavirus have been reported since the last update, all with a death date in the last 14 days. They are 4 women, between 71 and 94 years old, and 4 men, between 76 and 93 years old. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic amounts to 10,572: 1,284 in the province of Castellón, 4,000 in Alicante and 5,288 in Valencia.
Hospitalisation data is no longer being reported.
