The average value of accumulated rainfall from the beginning of the hydrological year (October 1, 2023) to November 7, 2023, is 134 l/m 2 (43% more than the normal value of 94 l/m 2 corresponding to said period).
The accumulated quantities are above their normal values in much of the western half of the Peninsula, in the western half of the Pyrenees and in the north of the island of Gran Canaria.
Furthermore, in the central peninsular strip, from the south of Badajoz to the Iberian system, along with Galicia, the northwest of Castilla y León and the north of Huesca, rainfall is more than double the average value.
In the eastern third of the Peninsula, the Cantabrian coast from Asturias to the Navarrese Pyrenees, points in southern Andalusia and parts of the two archipelagos, except for the northern half of Gran Canaria, the accumulated quantities are below normal values.
