Surfboard Woman Rescued 400 Metres from Beach

Elche Local Police have reported through their social networks that they rescued a swimmer on a surfboard who was more than 400 metres from the beach.

The officers carried out the rescue with their boat because the woman had great difficulty returning to land.

Subsequently, the police have reminded everyone that before practicing water sports it is advisable to check the weather and water conditions.

They have also asked users to be aware of their abilities and to use the appropriate equipment.
