Man Drowns In A Coruña

A 31 year old man died on Sunday, having drowned at a beach of Porto do Son in A Coruña. Two other people, a man aged 55 and a woman aged 32, were also hospitalised.

The alarm was raised with the 112 emergency centre stating that there were two people in the water unable to get out.

Lifeguards and emergency teams were quick to respond, but could do nothing but confirm the death of the man.

The second man was airlifted to hospital, as was the woman, who had gone into the water to assist in a rescue.
