The Velvetones dropped in to The Marbella Nursing home in Torrevieja, to surprise Olive Hall with a trip down memory lane. Olive (now in her nineties) was married to The Velvetones creator – the late Harry Hall, who started the chorus almost 15 years ago.
Olive was still singing until a few years ago and was delighted to hear the ladies sing songs old and new to her, fellow residents and staff.
It is such a fantastic hobby and a great way of meeting new friends! Come along to rehearsals each Wednesday mornings from 9.45 to 12.15 at Restaurant El Paraiso, Jardin del Mar behind Carrefour and McDonalds in Torrevieja.
