3.87 million inbound tourists visit Spain in March, an increase of 7.9%

According to the Frontier Tourist Movement Survey (FRONTUR) drafted by the Institute for Tourism Studies of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, Spain was visited by a total of 3.87 million international tourists in March 2013. This is an increase of 7.9% on the same month in 2012. The data for the month were boosted by the fact that Easter fell in March this year, whereas in 2012 the same holiday period fell in April.
