Another victory for the Torrevieja Tennis Club player Eva Guerrero, this time in the Championship of Andalusia sub-16 which was held last week at the Swimming Club Almería.
After reaching the final without dropping a set the Torrevieja girl met the third-seeded Paula del Cueto Sevillian who she worked hard to beat in two sets 7-6, 6-0
Eva is now the number one in Spain in the U-14 and U-16 categories and her success has qualified he to take part in the championship of Spain U-16 which will be held in June at the CT Gandia.
Meanwhile there was an excellent result for Carlos Guerrero, one of the bright new stars of Torrevieja Tennis Club who took victory in the (U-10) Tournament at CT Pulpi in Almeria.
At just eight years of age Carlos was not among the favorites in the competition but went on to beat the top seed from Murcia Jose Antonio Hernandez in the final.
