Safe Tourism Plan activated by State Secretariat of Security to increase safety in tourist areas during summer season

The State Secretariat of Security of the Ministry of Home Affairs has activated its Safe Tourism Plan ahead of the upcoming summer season in order to provide tourists with a safer environment during their travel and stay in Spain. In statements to the media, the State Secretary for Security, Francisco Martínez, said that “a commitment to safety in tourism is a commitment to quality tourism”, and that is why this is “unquestionably one of the highest priorities for this State Secretariat”.
