Government creates Monitoring Committees with companies to oversee increased presence of women on managing bodies

The Minister for Health, Social Services and Equality, Ana Mato, proposed a faster increase in the presence of women at the highest levels of business and to move at the same pace as other EU countries in compliance with the Europe 2020 Strategy. One of the measures will be the creation of Monitoring Committees set up by public sector representatives and private companies to oversee the adaptation of companies to this priority social commitment.
