12/06/2013. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a month-on-month increase of 0.2% in May, which compares with a slight decline (-0.1%) a year ago. According to the data published on Wednesday by the Spanish National Statistics Institute (Spanish acronym: INE), the year-on-year rate has thus increased by 0.3 percentage points to now stand at 1.7%.
