18/06/2013. “The Spanish transplant model is a global pioneering management model of people and resources whose achievements have made Spain an international standard”, said the Director of the Spanish National Transplant Organisation (ONT), Rafael Matesanz, while explaining the keys to the success of the Spanish transplant system during a presentation he gave at the event to officially recognise him as a new member of the Royal National Academy of Medicine (Spanish acronym: RANM).
