Pennsylvania came in first with 16 jackpot-winning Powerball lottery sales. Indian was second with 11. Third was Louisiana followed by Florida and Missouri in joint fourth position.
The reality, however, is that you have more chance of being struck by lightening – 1 in 6.250 according to the National Weather Service – than you have of matching the winning lottery numbers for the Powerball jackpot. The odds of that are 1 in 175 million!
