In the second such incident in a week, a 28 year old Dutchman ran into the Valladolid bullring on Sunday, in an attempt to disrupt the bullfighting during the Toro de la Vega de Tordesillas. The man was arrested and kept in custody to prevent a reoccurrence during the event.
A total of seven people died on Spanish roads in six accidents during the weekend, according to the figures from the DGT between 15:00 on Friday and 20:00 on Sunday, with another six people injured, two of them seriously. A collision between two cars in Gerona on Saturday was the worst incident of the weekend, resulting in two fatalities.
