Spain consolidates its eighth place on global ranking of agri-food product exporters and fourth in EU for 2012

According to the data published by the World Trade Organisation in August and contained in the “Foreign Trade Analysis” report drawn up by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs, Spain has consolidated its position as eighth-largest global exporter of agri-food products (farming and fishing products) and fourth-largest in the European Union. In 2012, Spain exported agri-food products totalling a value of 38.5 billion euros.
