Agri-food product export and import trade balance improves by 20% in first half of 2013

17/09/2013. Exports from the agri-food sector are maintaining the positive upward trend seen at the end of 2012. According to the data contained in the report on foreign trade in the agri-food sector drafted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Affairs, exports during the first half of this year have grown by 3%, thus improving the trade balance by 20% when compared with the first half of 2012.
